It could be your file manager or router manager or connection manager, which does not appear in the control panel. In this case how you can remove/uninstall the software from your computer?
Short introduction
Here I am using the D-Link Connection Manager to show you how to remove it because here D-Link manager is not in the control panel. You can follow the same steps if you are facing the same issue with any other software, you want to remove from your computer.
How to remove D-Link/other software which does not appear in control panel
Step 1: Open the drive where you installed it. In my case, it is “C” drive.
Step 2: Now open “Program files” folder.
Step 3: Here you will see your files for the software, open it. For me “D-Link connection manager”.
Step 4: Under this folder, you will uninstall folder which is often named as “unins000”. Open it which is application file.
Step 5: Final step is to confirm it and give permission to modify it. Click “Yes”.
Now it will take a few minutes or possible very quickly in some. Let it take the time and it is done.
