Google+ is no longer going to continue. Yes, Google has decided to close their community for people.
There were many ups and downs, finally, they have decided to close this service. We all know every website use mostly three social platforms to ask people to follow them and these are facebook, twitter and google. Later youtube came in this, I believe youtube alone is enough for any service these days.
Social sites for following
A few years back when we ask people to subscribe newsletter to get updates of the site/blog post. And then it turns to social media pages. All we found following on social sites is the best way to find customers because many people use these sites just for fun. Where few people only check their emails compare to social site activity.
In this fan following the race, Facebook is number one and then Twitter. I personally never think twitter could be the one best choice even for a celebrity. Well, most celebrities prefer Instagram though Twitter is another best choice.
And always Google+ being the exceptions. However, there are many users active no much benefit of it.
Google+ for SEO only
We all had the same question. Why Google+ has no benefit or why it is not used as frequently as other social sites. Google+ pages are created as mandatory to build traffic through a google search result. Where nobody thinks to create a page for marketing.
Whatever the points are, Google has made it very clear that they are finally shutting down this service. And all your data can be downloaded.
What should you do?
- On April 2nd, your Google+ account and any Google+ pages you created will be shut down and they will begin deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts.
- As early as February 4th, you will no longer be able to create new Google+ profiles, pages, communities or events.
- If you’re a Google+ Community owner or moderator, you may download and save your data for your Google+ Community.
- If you’re a G Suite customer, Google+ for your G Suite account should remain active.
